Jorge's Habit at our first Garlic Festival
We attended our first Gilroy Garlic Festival. Not only was this our first Garlic Festival it was also the largest event we have attended to date. The Gilroy Garlic festival has 100,000 visitors each year. There were definitely lots of people! We gave out more samples than we can count.
Having the opportunity to attend festivals like this are fun and educational. It is amazing to see how things work from a vendor prospective vs. a customer’s perspective. I have been to fairs, festivals, etc. in the past (as a visitor) and it is an entire different experience as a vendor. We have a greater appreciation for all the hard work that goes into an event like this.
It was a great event with several stages for live music, food competitions and celebrity chefs. All kinds of unique garlic finds!
